tom10
Does anyone know if you can chamfer floor slabs or walls on the top and bottom plane? I know you can chamfer the edges in plan but is it possible in archi to chamfer the wall where the vertical plane meets either to top or bottom ridge? e.g. modeling work tops of a kitchen Kind regards Tom
Derek Forreal
Tom, not sure if it's too late but here's my suggestion anyways. i don't think it's possible to chamfer them directly but there are a couple of workarounds: for a worktop, you could draw the section of the worktop, save as a profile, and then extrude the profile as needed. this would give you the shape you need. for a chamfered slab you could create a std slab minus the chamfered bit, then create a profile of the chamfer and extrude it around the slab - not ideal i know... or you can buy the archiforma plugin (or similar). i don't use it myself but have heard good things about it. have you asked this question here: http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/?
