dogragurjeet
Recently rendered this image using Vray sun and sky and a physical Vray camera. Need advice on how to make it more realistic. Any advice would be most welcome..... Thanking you in advance
Stephen Thomas
What's letting it down the most is a lack of any textures. At the moment it's just colours really. The buildings themselves probably just about get away with it here but the landscaping definitely needs more work. Adding some natural looking grass, some reflective water with a bump map applied, a road texture and just softening up the hard angles on your landscape and you'd be half way there already. Also the camera angle isn't very dynamic.
dogragurjeet
thanks a ton thomas, really appreciate your points. There a lot of questions from my side but will help me eradicate a lot of problems 1. I have applied textures to road, grass, pavements etc. These work fine up close (have rendered them separately) but at this distance they are not visible. 2. Landscaping : have probs with my computer config. It crashes with this much model data only. Planning to upgrade soon so please forgive that. 3. How do i make the water realistic at such an angle?. lower angles make the water reflect the buildings, but at this angle do not have anything to reflect. 4. Dynamic camera angle? can u illustrate with an example. Will be really grateful for your help. Thanking you in advance
