quizzy
Why is my radiosity solution not reflected? I'm using standard raytrace material for the glass. Not using regathering, but with regathering its not showing either.. Any one any ideas??
smoke3dstudio
I am not too sure.I've never toch radiosity for a long time but I used to have this kind of problem. I think the problem is from your exposure control and phisical scale setting. You may need to change the phisical scale parameter to be the same as your highest light intensity(cd.)in the scene. quizzy
I had the fresnel falloff in the raytrace material in the reflection slot. Still MAX5 so no architectural material..
smoke3dstudio
But fresnal is another reflection option in raytrace material in max 5 as well. I found it's suitable for round round thing and water surface with the animation ( the reflection change if we change the angle of the camera). This is a good tutorial about water surface reflection (fresnal) but unfortunately, it's in Thai. ---------fresnal effect tutorial---------

smoke3dstudio
I told you already, Jodestroy that you might have not used "Render direct illumination", so just chk it. You must use!
Fran
Hi Robert, I noticed that you have Interactive Filtering set to 30. Try to keep that number at or below 5 because filtering flattens out any detail. I prefer 3 or less. As Montree said, raytraced shadows will not render unless "Render Direct Illumination" is checked.
