danb4026
This image won the Vismaster's Image of the Week a while back. I personally don't consider the glass buildings to be really photo-realistic. They, and the whole image, has a more artistic feel to it. What methods are used to create glass like this? I'm not sure if its the refraction, the reflections, some diffuse glow, etc that gives this artistic feel. I have to do a glass highrise that I would like it to take on a similar style. Any advice would be appreciated. Edited April 26, 2009 by danb4026

innerdream
It looks to me to be a semi transparent UV map as the mullions are not geometry.
danb4026
I agree with it being a transparent uv map. Do you think the reflections are real or a reflection map?
innerdream
? I can't tell. Should be easy to run a few tests on a plane.
