STRAT
whats that light blue area of the image? if you have a scene with no windows and no lights then of course it'll be almost black. to illuminate an internal scene you need light. thats either provided by windows, which dont exist here, or artificial light like ceiling lights or desk lights or general room lights. but you say you dont want to use lights. i dont know then \edit do you just mean a general internal ambience? if so you still need a light source. you can use your environmental lighting channels, but you must make either your walls or ceilings invisible to gi or shadowing because they'll block it out otherwise. it's much easier to use infill/artificial lighting. vray is a light simulator, treat it as such.
