Jibs, Dollies and Booms

For an upcoming project I was thinking of creating some simple jibs and dollies using IK etc for use in creating camera paths and dynamic stationary camera moves. I was also going to either script or parameter wire the controls to sliders so that animating won't require selecting each movable part or going into the camera settings.

 

Has anybody done this before? Any suggestions or requests?

Hi Jeff,

 

I read a demo about simulation real world camera's somewhere in a newriders book a long time ago. Must have been an inside max1 or 2. I'll try to find it again after the weekend.
