leoviale
One friend of mine sent me this web page from this thieves... I can't believe this guys... They just stole Archmodel scenes and only change the camera position... This guys should be in jail. http://www.dadc.com.ar/ Go to Portfolio, Arquitectura, and see the first picture, and from #15. Justin Hunt
technically they havn't stolen anything, this is exactly how the archmodels are sold, "Here is a scene, render it, and sell your services as an architectureal renderer". Its poor practice and really misleading for prospective clients and I have my own issues with the archmodels marketing as such. I have no issues with using their models, so long as you change then to suit your scene. jhv
leoviale
Ok, but anyway, i think it's very poor to say "hey, i bough archmodels, now i know how to render, lets sell our services...", because many do that, i think its inappropriated. Brian Smith
be careful with your words...it's a long shot, but they may be the actual creators of the scene. i believe evermotion sells scenes that others create...they are after all, predominantly resellers. even if they are not the creators, it's still perfectly legal what they are doing...as Justin said, Evermotion packages these scenes for such possible use....as questionable as it may be for a 3D artist to use. leoviale
Well, i could believe that if the other work from them it's just good as the evermotion renders, but it is not. I personally find that using others work to sell a product that u don't know how to use or hot to create is not a good deal. It's just my opinion, even if it's legal or not, maybe i was wrong about the evermotion package, because it's meant to be used that way, but i still find it wrong. It's my opinion. kippu
i can point out a lot more websites doing that ...but hey if they dont know the nuances of it they will get found out with their first real work that they get ...evermotion is not the answer to everything
jucaro
just by looking at their non-evermotion "works", the render quality is very different. -or the lack thereof.

Jim Mann
I once had someone send in a their CV and samples of their work but "their" work was about 80% evermotion. I think I was more insulted that they thought I would be so uninformed about the industry as to have not heard of evermotion or not recognise the pre-prepared scenes. Its a shame they felt their own efforts were so poor as to need padding out that way, especially when most of us have been around long enough to recognise pre-packaged scenes and renders from tutorials. Alex York
i was working at a studio a while back and somebody applied to work there, sending in a few samples of their work. there were 3 images. 2 of them were shit and the other one was mine. lol. rmccoy
After looking thru their website. They have a ton of evermotion scenes in there. I hate seeing this. I have seen so much evermotion stuff that I can pretty much pick out the pieces from a scene that are evermotion products. I admit though that I will use some of their stuff if I'm in a rush. Fantastic! Personaly speaking...while I have used Evermotion/TS for models, I would not be happy with myself using there rendered stuff, it would be cheating. Alex York
haha no way. i sent him an extremely angry e-mail and he fell over himself apologizing. didn't do him any good mind - he's blacklisted as far as I'm concerned.

Rolf, i had a guy i knew from the architectural university that sent my images saying those were made by himself. And the stupid @sshole sent them to a friend and told me. But it was good in the end, because the ones who received the pics, all called me because they all found at the end it was I the one who made them. That's why now i always add a watermark to all my renderings. Anyways, i feel good to know that many other feel the same about those ppl who use evermotion already made scenes, and appreciate the "real" work from ppl like us. That's good to know. leoviale
Jeez, and i though that most of that kind of ppl was here... Anyway, u should always add a watermark to all of your work, specially if u send it via email or leave a copy of your work, that's what I do now, and didn't have any more problems from that kind. Justin Hunt
I always find it funny to see days after evemotion release a new package they start appearing in varouse galleries. At least have the decency to change the textures. I have no problem with using the models to populate your scene, just modify them so they dont look like every other evermotion render out there. jhv
leoviale
I don't think using evermotion furniture is a problem, it's useful if u r in a rush, and don't want to spend time modeling every furniture (unless is required). But, i find that using the complete scenes is unappropriated, because it's like using something that u don't know how to do, or just don't have any ideas how to produce it.
