TomA
Hi, I modelled some terrain in CAD and imported it into Max, and did a few simple renders with Vray and everything was fine. I'm assuming this is a Max issue though and not Vray specific? Then all of a sudden it stopped rendering properly, i.e. it just renders the window grey and not any of the terrain geometry. It happened after I started using the camera match helper. I don't know whether that's a coincidence? See links below. Any ideas? dean@pikcells
make sure your rendering in the correct view port, not like a side or top view (trust me, ive done that in the past!!) does the object render in a perspective view?
TomA
No it's the same in all viewports.
dean@pikcells
right click and check that in the object properties that "renderable" is ticked. also, check the alpha to see if anything shows up. try creating a box, and see if that will render. TomA
I think it might have something to do with memory re RAM used when using background images in the viewports?
