max.m
hi, i got a tip from a friend who uses solidrock for a while. he says it speeds up his renderings done with max/vray quite a lot. he`s not very experienced with vray so i don`tknow if solidrock is just for newbies or also brings something for experienced users who know how to balance spped vs quality in vray? Devin Johnston
I've used it but it's never really helped me, it adjusts almost every setting in Vray to try and optimize the lighting and materials but every time I've used it my render times increased and there was a lot more noise. I don't know if it's possible to set up a wizard like this one based on formulas.
Pofi
I'm using v0.85... It is a VERY USEFULL TOOL It can tune up my settings to be at least twice faster than it was with my own manual settings. I'm a beginner in Vray so it saved me a lot of time. WOW! This is all that I can say by now... I recommend it to everyone!
