Need Help with VrayScatter Problem

See the attached screenshot. I created a vrayproxy of a box and then created a vray scatter object with the plane being the distribution object. I set the count to only 10 and the preview count to be only 5.

 

As you can see, when I created the scatter, many more boxes were created that the 10 or the preview of only 5. But worse is, that when rendered, the scattered item is so large that it takes over the entire rendered view rather than showing the individual boxes applied to the plane...like in the viewport. You can see the burgundy colored proxy below the yellow plane in the render window of the screen shot.

 

I have the newest version of Vrayscatter 2.5 for SP3. No matter what I try, I cannot seem to resolve this problem. Any advice???
