very nice image.I like the lighting,the bathtub..It has a warm feeling to it..what i don't like,personally, is the chair..I don't know,it looks like it doesn't belong there.Maybe something more modern,or fancy?

Totally agree on the chair. Its a beautiful image and I think if the chair is in it, it should make a statement. Maybe something a little Louis XIVish?

Thanks Tommy very much appreciated. I'll have to look for another chair. Any tips where to look for something like that?

You say you have time on your hands, why not model one? I was thinking some thing like this: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3134/2630155057_6e2c84cbd1.jpg?v=0

There aren't enough years left on my clock to be able to model that! :D

I'll be honest. I built physical models for over 25 years as a professional and the last thing I want to do now is learn how to build 3D models to that level. I would rather out source my model work or buy something off the shelf.

It's a cool chair though. :)

You would be surprised. I have never really thought I would get round to learning soft modeling in Max, especially when I see people working in z-brush/modo etc. However, this week I had a job take me by surprise, I had to model the snakes on a model being 'Medusa'. It was an awesome job, I was going to have a freelancer do the heads and snake/scalp merge, but forced myself to do it. I learnt sooooo much about soft modeling. Honestly, you could model that chair in a day and be a much better artist for it. I had built up this big aversion to complex modeling because I thought it was over my head, but its really not that tough.

You make good points and they are noted. For me personally my priorities and desire lie somewhere else. That's not to say someday I wouldn't give it a try, just not today.
