huntch3 Posted May 8, 2009 Share Posted May 8, 2009 Hi everyone Here is a pic of my project....the problem is when i render this in vray, this curved geometry gives off this strange blotchy shadows...I checked the geometry and i dont think theres anything wrong with it....and there is nothing below or on top of it to give a strange reflection....what do you think is the problem?any suggestions? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

rmccoy Posted May 9, 2009 Share Posted May 9, 2009 coplanar faces are when you have two planes (quads/triangles) that occupy the exact same space. a lot of times they will produce weird results like what you have.
