marksee
I remember searching for this topic a while back and came up with no results... In an active viewport is there a way to increase the resolution of a bitmap applied to an object? The issue: I am matching up some vertical elements with a site aerial applied to a plane - the resolution of the aerial image is so pixelated I cannot tell whats going on - I have to keep rendering then shifting etc... starting to kill productivity. Hopefully there is a way to do it - or is it a video card issue? thanks!
Itoosoft
Enable Customize->Preferences->Viewport->Configure Drive->Match Bitmap Size as Closely as Possible, and restart Max.

TomA
Hi, I know this works because i've done it before on other versions of Max, but on my new work PC when I reopen Max it reverts back to the previous settings and therefore has no effect on the quality of the jpeg in the viewport. Any ideas? Tom
