dogragurjeet
Hi people, Stuck up with this office interiors. Am using 3dsmax9 and Vray1.5. The problem is that the client wants a lot of dark materials like, dark wooden flooring, walnut colour laminates on his furniture and so on. This is really turning down the illumination level in my scene and had to put many lights where they are not required. Tips are required and most welcome for the renderings. BTW i just noticed that the cushion on the barcelona chairs have been moved (accidentally!!). Please ignore, will align them. Thank you in advance
wizuby
There a few things that I think could really help. 1. Glossy ref maps on the wood laminate and wood floor. 2. Nicer modelling of the lights. They look like they might be a light material? I would suggest just using a dim Vraylightmat to show the light, but then put a plane light right below to actually illuminate the scene. This should cast some direct light onto the walls as well which would look nice. Right now they are looking kind of flat. 3. Camera Correction / Vertical Shift adjustment
dogragurjeet
thanks a lot wizuby..... i think i will remodel the lights a little bit. Actually am using a large plane light just below the lights, but had kept it's intensity low, will bump it up. Glossy reflection map is one thing i need a little help with... can i blur the wooden map that i have and use it as a reflection map for the floor?. thank you in advance
