archkre
What do I do to wysiwyg los materiales del Max5 en mi Viewport? Diego Rosales
You have to activate the "show map in viewport" option on the map you wish to view. By default, MAX displays both first-level diffuse and opacity maps. However, you can force your viewport map to be any map within your material: just navigate to it and activate the display option. Oh, and try to write in english. You'll get more feedback and other members will benefit too. /Diego

archkre
Sorry for my Spanglish from East-L.A.(Orale, arriba la Raza!!) What do I do to wysiwyg my materials/maps from Max5 in my Viewport? Draggin' the materials from Mat. editor to viewport sometimes I can see the material/maps & sometimes not, why? How is it possible that a very cheap program like Art*lantis(cheap regarding price, not quality)has a much better performance regarding this aspect ,escential IMHO than max5 , a $4.0000 giant? Diego Rosales
Sure. Keep in mind that it is not a matter of whether this app is more expensive or not: that doesn't mean anything. The tools ARE there for you to use them. In the material editor, look for a little blue-white rubik's cube icon, just below the sample slots. Make use of the manuals/ref. guide. They can answer most of the questions you might have. /Diego
