Want to buy Desktop... Please help.

Hi,

 

I want to buy a desktop, mainly for programming purpose (to work on Ruby, Java and other OOP Languages), for some scripting (HTML, XML and Java Script), for some GUI programming (Shoes, Sinatra), to work on some applications (job related, viz - Watir, Watiz, Mantiz and HP quality center). Beside this i am also interested in gaming.

 

Thought of buying Dual-Core processor and 2 GB RAM. But have no idea, which one in Dual-Core!? What would be the best Chipset, for the processor i'll buy!? What should be the FSB speed to utilize my processor at its best and to make my Chipset best!!! Lots of questions in mind.

 

Please suggest me a suitable combination/configuration. Thank u for ur valuable suggestions, in advance. Anxiously waiting for ur suggestions.
