RevitGary
When doing an animation and you want to render them out as individual frames, then compile them into an animation. What is the best file format to render to? Gif, jpg, targa ? Thanks
gerard
Hi, I would use tiff, tga in which i can also save an alpha channel. I would not use jpg cause i think it does not allow much for colour correction if required.
nelpiper
I have some options. You can save a .HDR sequence which will give lots of room to post production. Just keep in mind that .HDR images do not save alpha channels as .png, .tga, .tif do. Anther great option is .exr which gives you lots of control in post production and saves the alpha channel along. Hope it helps. good luck.
Adeyemi
In a straight forward and simple approach, use .tga. With this you have both an intermidiate or starter skill control over your footage. NEVER USE JPEG. cheers
