Noise
I am going to send some animations to an external render farm, what is the best way to gather the files for sending so that it all works correctly at its destination ? Thanks N
luckymutt
Use either File->Archive or in Utilities Panel ->More->Resource Collector
Noise
Yeah I have used those but the file structure isn't working for some unknown reason
Chad Warner
There's a couple scripts on scriptspot that do a better job than the built in one--for example, if you're using vray, they'll collect the vray proxies. In general, if all of your maps/materials/etc are in the same folder as the max file, max will find them (again, except for Vray objects-proxies, irmaps, etc)
