Photo of the Week #3

Post a photo, any photo. (That you took.) Usual size restrictions apply.

I don't have anything new this week that I want to post, so I'm cheating and using a photo from a couple weeks ago. And this time it's architectural!

For this I used my Minolta XD-11 and Kodak Ektar 100 film, and Vivitar S1 28-90/2.8 lens.

Hey if the moderator can cheat...I will post more than one!

When I have the chance, I will do a panoramic to capture both of these structures from a small pedestrian bridge connecting them.

Both are hdr processed with Photomatix, tweeked with Photoshop and Noiseware. Each one was shot with a Nikon D40 at F/22 with shutter speeds starting at 2.5 secs through 30 sec (7 exposures blended).

All in a night's work...

For every image I am happy to post, there are probably 10-15 that just didn't have any impact. Flickr has a 360 Group and the idea is that you post one image a day for an entire year. Basically a photo diary. I have considered attempting it, but in the end I know that I will just drive my self crazy with the curse of perfectionism...

so I am assuming based on the cowboys stadium and the rangers stadium you have done some work with HKS. What a dream job. nice, nice, nice.

I do have a dream job, just not with HKS. I work for Freese & Nichols, a 115 year old engineering firm. We are a "big E little a" firm.
