shikodesign2000
Hi, I just need to know how to make all icons in autocad 2009 appears???!!!, In all my previous experience in cad work, 2d&3d, I used to use icons and this makes work very easy and fast...but in the latest version of autocad 2009, I can't make all the icons visible like (for example) the 3d views icons (top, right, left, bottom,SW,SE,NW,NE..etc...), this way I can't make any 3d model quickly. If anyone knows the solution, please tell me.
neko
when you say 'icons' you mean toolbars ? if you are having trouble understanding/seeing the new interface, then look down in the bottom right corner next to the little 'lock' icon you see a round cog icon. this is the 'workspace settings' icon, and from there you can reset the interface to the defaults you prefer (probably 'autocad classic' in your case). the interface changes for 2009 are quite drastic - toolbars and pulldowns are become less fashionable with the introduction of the ribbon. i personally like some of the aspects of the ribbon for access to 3D functions, but it took me awhile (and a few tantrums) to get comfortable with it. hope that helps.
