Dave Buckley
Does anybody have a complete list of all of the new features/enhancements that were introduced in max Design 2010. Its like a never ending story of surprises. I read one thing and believe it to be a complete list, then i read another article which mentions another new enhancement, then another article doesn't mention enhancements that the previous two did but it does mention an enhancement that the other two didn't, you get the point. I'm just after a complete itemised list of every new inclusion in the latest release. Here is what i have compiled so far. please feel free to add to this list, just change the colour of your ink Graphite Modelling Toolset Interactive Lighting Analysis - Pseudo Containers Review 3 Material Explorer xView Mesh Analyzer PFlowAdvanced Particle Effects OBJ Import ProOptimizer ProSound Support for High Resolution Render output Viewport Canvas ProBooleans Enhancements UVW Unwrap Enhancements Global Quality Knobs Multi-Map Shader Object Colour Map Animation Flicker Reduction Final Gather Progressive Rendering Render Surface Map Linear Colour Space Workflow - Gamma Enhancements Enhanced Scene Explorer Cloth Improvements Hair Enhancements User Interface Enhancements User Interface Refresh Transform Toolbox Mental mill Technology I'm not sure if this list is correct hence the reason for the post
mkofmainchester
You get the list of new features when you type "new feture" in the Index search box (alternativly type "changed features" for changed features). That does not cover the Connection Extensions or changes made in the Service packs AFAIK though.
Dave Buckley
ok thanks for that, was quite a while a go when i first posted that. have since found what you just described. the connection extension has its own help guide under additional help, and the service packs always contain readme's detailing what has been changed, and the SP's aren't usually new features, more like 'fixed' features
