pwrdesign
Hi all! Here is a WIP of my first exterior render with Vray This pretty low quality is what I want to reach, but with a grass-plane for the house to stand on. http://www.lbhus.se/pictures/house/90/786_4387/159-R_bak__Custom__full.jpg The house is built in Revit, exported to FBX, saved as MAX and placed in my scene as xref Object. So... This is my settings so far: If I just render it, the building is rendered BLACK... I guess that the materials from revit dosn't work that well... Or have I missed something? Cynthia Hansen
Well, if there's not a reason(i.e. you're not using a vray camera) that you have your sun's intensity multiplier so low, you might want to put it back to 1. Also are you rendering to your Vray frame buffer or not? If in fact you still think its the material (you might want to post an image of what the rendering looks like), you could always render out a material override to double check if thats the issue.
