quizzy Posted July 19, 2002 Share Posted July 19, 2002 I have the following question: If network rendering a single image in max5 (this is possible in viz4? so i guess its possible in max5?) which computer calculates the radiosity solution, or are all computers calculating it. And is this the same for Global Illumination calculations? If someone knows the whole story about this... quizzy Posted July 25, 2002 Author Share Posted July 25, 2002 yep.... i knew that one already... but its not an automated script... do I really have to program one myself??? ah well... might do that then.. but first... as you've read ofcourse i need to make a good door plugin/script... you can read it in a post of i dont know who... but it started with a question about archicad and doors etc... its in the 3ds max forum.... its going to be a very usefull script for belgiums too... And is this the same for Global Illumination calculations? As I said in another conference, Region Net Render is a sample script in MAX 5 (look for it in the 2nd CD). As for GI, it's not distributed.
