shikodesign2000
Hi, Since moving to Dubai 6 months ago, I made many 3d stills, but without people as I'm used to, but now, I'm asked to put some arabian people (with gulf custum) in some exterior shots, I face a problem cause I haven't this kind of people style. If anyone can tell me where I can find this (gulf people) style please tell me, I mean the people who wear the special cloth of (Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Qatar...etc..) Sketchrender
Sounds like there is a market out there for people of these nations. Would you not go out and start photographing at the weekend and refine the images, and start a small business on line. Might be worth it. We are begining to do work in these countries (hopfully) and will need these people. phil
3dp
nightmare................... as you will discover 1 invest in axyz arab people - we used them here all the time 2 if you are in the gulf photography can be frowned upon but it's the onlt way to get the range 3 as per the thread last week - make sure you have the right clothing for the country eg bahrain is all white or red and white headgear it's a nightmare - glad i don't have to do commercial work anymore
shikodesign2000
David: do you mean that photography is better than axyz models??
3dp
you'll need both models work simply becasue you can render and direction - but you are limited by the number and poses - but a day well spent with max/photoshop and you could modify the poses and maps on the axyz to produce maybe 3-4 times the amount also they don't really work in close up images for photos basically just go and snap anything and everything even with hundreds of models images there is never enough material in your database only problem these days is trying photograph someone/something without them wanting a model fee and in the gulf it's even worse and or getting the right lighting and poses as i said nightmare i've encounterd similar problems in the past back in the UK when working on schemes that are in (no apologies) predominatly asian or african origin demographic areas

Crazy Homeless Guy
I recently worked on a Mideast project. You are going to find it very difficult to find packages of people for compositing. The project wound up lasting several months, so if I were to do it again, there is one main thing I would do differently. ......I would by the proper attire for both male and female and have people model them for me, while I took picture, and built a library.
