TAKA
hey guys... how does each one of u go about rendering an exterior night view? what methods do u use? Skydome with attenuated lights, radiosity, GI? I know it depends a lot on the lighting design for the building. U see i have this residential building i want to do a night scene of, and as light sources, i already have the street lights, and will mostly use the lit interior of the appartments. Do i need to add any light source coming from above to simulate moonlight or some sort of low intensity sky? Do i use radiosity? Hope u can put some light on this topic as it is rarely discussed (i think!) thx
nuno
hi taka, as a complement of the street lights and apartments i think you should go with skylight in some darkblue and radiosity... nuno
