Sweep Modifier Scale problem

Hi everyone. I am trying to create some crown moulding using the sweep modifier against a spline.

 

The problem I am having is that even though my custom profile is scaled correctly when I run the sweep against the path it seems to just pick its own scale. So all my crown moulding is far too big, I have tried re-scaling the profile spline even smaller but still no change to the end result. The moulding fits the path pefectly but its ust too big.

 

I tried lofting but I would need to do far too much work to the lofted result, so Ifigured Sweep was the way to go, but just cant get it to scale for me. I cant manualy scale it because that throws the actauil path off so the moulding but that scales everything inward and then it dfoesnt fit the room anymore.

 

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Add the X-Form modifier to the object you are using as the section and you should be able to reset it's scale...
