Devin Johnston
I've seen this technology before but never considered it useful for Arch Viz until I saw this demo. What do you guy's thing about it's potential for creating interactive Arch Viz experiences, would it be more useful than standard animations? BillyElNino
We had a play around with Augmented Reality with a SketchUp plugin, it was fun but very limited at the moment. Funny to see the look on a clients face though when he holds a piece of printed card up and his building appears on it on the screen in front of him...! The only application we could think of was a fun way of looking around the design, but very much a gimmick at this stage I think.
Devin Johnston
That's what I was thinking, it's just for fun right now but it really could turn into something in a few years.
3D_IC
This is an impressive tool, but has along way to go before its of any use to our industry. The graphics remind me of the classic doom game. Bring the graphics up to the level in Joseph Kosinski's I-spec animation and it would be a winner. http://www.josephkosinski.com/main.html
