Hello all,

I am new in cgarchitect and its been only a short period i work on 3ds max.

My first project is a small residence and i would like to show to customers some realistic views. So i d like your comments and suggestions to help me improve some things so that my views will look more realistic.

For these views i used 3ds max 9.0, vray 1.50 sp1, vray sun for lighting, some textures and bumps for materials and uvw mapping and displacement for grass.

Also i would appreciate it if someone could help me on how to import max files (some trees) in a max project and use radiosity, since both functions are not active when i open 3ds max.

Ty in advance!

ps. If anyone knows why i have this burning on outside wall, pls inform me so that i ll correct it.

you've made a good start to getting this model looking great.

first thing i would fix would be your UVW mapping on the concrete textures - the tiling looks too small and that's why there is that repeating pattern - look more into it and that might also help with the burning on the walls if you apply a different texture.

with the house hanging in the air - it might take away from realism too :)

good luck

Ty both very much for your c&c.

I ll try to fix the concrete material even if i dnt know if i have to correct tile values from material library or correct values in uvw modifier. Shot during this render was random, i ll try make a camera shot this time.

About this burning i checked it and its not false geometry, and even if i can fix it in final work, it stills seem strange to me i get this effect.

I will post new renders soon. Thank you again!
