material map scaling in rhino (vray)

Hi all, first post here. I just wanted to pose a question to the community here about rendering displacements with vray for rhino. I have been attempting to map some context with red tile roofs. I found a material for that elsewhere online, and it looks great as long as the object is around 12" by 12". However, I have found that if I increase the size of the object, the maps scale along with it.

 

I remember from 3dmax a long time ago that there was some sort of map scale modifier that you could adjust to remain at real world scale or some specified multiplier, regardless of the size of the object.

 

Is there any way to achieve that in vray for rhino? Thanks if anyone knows.
