It is developed in Toronto by Autodesk's Media and Entertainment Division (formerly Alias).Maya is used in the film and TV industry, as well as for computer and video games, architectural visualization and designMaya is the culmination of three 3D software lines: Wavefront's The Advanced Visualizer, Thomson Digital Image (TDI) Explore and Alias' Power Animator.for more info google out renderrocket.
