Craig Ramsay
Hi guys, When I render a scene in max I seem to have a problem with getting the image in my virtual frame buffer to match the brightness of a saved copy of the image in photoshop. In the past I have always sorted this with the levels tool in photoshop but I would rather the file was correct in the first place. Can I correct this with the gamma settings in max? If so, what are the correct settings to use? Cheers Craig
quizzy
I think your problem lies in photoshop not in max, you're most likely using some kind of color profile in photoshop, and when saved it saves the color profile with the picture. Craig Ramsay
I am opening the file with no colour management so that can't be the problem :angesigh: I get the same problem even if I open the image in other packages. Any more ideas guys?
stefkeB
viz/max has an internal option to adjust gamma. Maybe that is making it look different in max then in photoshop?
