alfienoakes
Quick question.. I hope simple answer. Just loaded up Vray 1.5 SP3 onto Viz 2008, and I cannot get the Vrayphysicalcamera and vraysky dll's to load up at startup. I have to manually go into plugins and load them up everytime I restart viz.. Has anyone else come across this problem..? Its a pain more than anything, but Im sure its not right. If I dont load them up manually, I get an error when I open any files with cameras or sky in, and in new files I have no Vray Cameras under Cameras, and no Vraysky under lights..?? I assume I have downloaded the correct Vray version as it works in all ways once I manulaly load the plugins... Cheers
WAcky
Are you running vista? Did you happen to install without right-clicking and selecting "run as administrator"?
alfienoakes
Hi James, No, as when you do that, vray will run all the way thru, then tell you that there is a problem. So I did make sure I installed as admin. Its weird, as once I have manually loaded the 2 plugins I can use them. As soon as I restart VIZ, I have to manually load them again.. Its a pain, as if I dont load them before opening up a drawing, the cameras dont work, so you get no cameras in the scene that are physical ones.....
