Vray light problem

Hello,

I am having promblem with my vray lights casting shadows on my ceilings. Not sure what is causing it. Here are a few screen grabs with settings and a rendered view of the promblem.

Not really sure what is causing the trouble, try switching to vray ies lights, maybe you can save time instead of re-rendering the imagen to find what is the problem...

Thanks, I will give that a try. It is strange, this happens on a regular basis on my interior scenes, and I end up "fixing" the spots in Photoshop, which can be a pain and a waste of time. If anyone else has any suggestions let me know.

The vray dirt map I had on my ceiling materail was causing the problem and did not realize that the dirt material is still calculated for invisible lights.
