Sargimo
I lofted a shape around a spline and ended up with this. I'm just trying to figure out how to cap the hollow core. It is now an editable poly. thanks for any help, Josh (I remain online)
Claudio Branch
Select opposing edges and use the "Bridge" command...very fast and easy...
Sargimo
Hi Claudio, thanks for the fast reply. I tried it but I can't seem to get it to work. I also "looped" the inner edge and "bridged" but no luck. do I need to use the "settings"? Thanks, Josh
Camby1298
Trace a line on the inner top lip of your wall (Using Snaps), convert to edible poly/mesh, then attach to the wall. That should work.
Sargimo
Hey Brian, That worked great, I did it again by Looping the inner edge and "creating shape from selection" Many thanks for pointing me in that direction, regards, Josh
Claudio Branch
If you are going to use Bridge, you need to select opposing sides with the ends left open. Otherwise, the second suggestion will also work...
SandmanNinja
You can also Bridge faces. I would have selected the inner Faces that were ..er.. facing each other and hit Bridge. I'm guessing that you did an Outline on the wall - if you do not have an inner wall, when you extrude the spline it will be a solid fill.
