Tommy L Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 I'll be sticking with XP64 I think alot of people here, myself included, use XP64 and are very happy with it. I think the real competition is between XP64 and W7. I also think that a lot of people here have similar setups...... So, in the interest of making me and people like me happy, can anyone give a brief (layman's) comparison of XP64 / Windows 7 on a Q6600 with 8G ram? SandmanNinja Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 I want to say it's got the UI of Vista and the stability of XP64, but that might be a 2 parts of wishful thinking and 1 part of over simplification.
