SandmanNinja
Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 & 3ds 2009 Design Hello, I got a good price on the above mentioned mouse and it seems to work pretty well with one exception: I cannot hold the scroll wheel down and use it as a Middle Mouse Button in 3ds. It's a programmable button and can do a lot of things, but no matter what option I pick, it does not behave like my old mouse. I have to go down to the lower-right corner of 3ds and click the Pan button. Very frustrating. I only got it Friday and the shop will let me return it if it's not suitable, but it's not a bad mouse. However, if I have to keep doing this mouse shuffle then I'll return it. Oh, it behaves the same way in AutoCAD 2006 as well. Anyone using this mouse and if so did you have similar issues? Thanking you
Cad64
I would be lost without my middle mouse button. If you can't get it to work, I would definitely return it. I use a Logitech Mx510, 8 button mouse. I've had it for years and I really like it. It fits comfortably in my hand and has several programmable buttons. There's a thread about MS mice on the Autodesk Discussion Groups: http://discussion.autodesk.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=701063&tstart=
SandmanNinja
Thanks heaps. I'm wiping this mouse off and wrapping it back up as we speak. Cheers
