Vray Crashes on Render with regional render

We are using the latest version, but find that when you render and the render region window is displayed and it is hitting the side of the window it gives an error 20, 20 20, and won't render and freezes out.

and the file becomes currupt.

 

pain in the as* big time time lost everytime.

 

I hope they fix it soon.

Is this with the VFB region render or the standard max region render? Corruption of the file is a big concern. sp3 or sp3a? Im using sp3 and i've pushed VFB region render to the edge of the screen with no probs.

 

Have you posted on the Chaosgroup forums? You should log this as a bug so it's definitely taken notice of.

I've found that if i render a large image using the region render in the vfb, then change the image size to a lower res with the previous region active, this crashes, i think it may have something to do with the vfb region window being larger than the new lower res render, maybe you're right about overlapping then, tim
