Yeah but not without messing up the angle of the line, that and the intersection snap is pretty ropey as well. I think people just have to accept that Autodesk are never going to incorporate Autocad's linework tools into max. If you want accuracy in 2d use Autocad, if you want to model in 3d use 3ds max.
