CarlAhearne
It's very difficult to get any idea of scale with that image; it doesn't seem to fit at all well with the photo.. If you look to the left of the photo, you can see cars and a skip, and your building appears to be the same height... It's also very unclear what the units are supposed to look like; what is each part supposed to be made of, how many rooms are there etc... When you are composting your image together, you need to place more focus on the part you have modelled and not the huge amount of photo that you currently have... How long have you been doing this for? It's probably not so bad for a first attempt, but keep up the learning, and take any feedback you get in a positive manner... Tee Adeniyi
In terms of scale...I didn't want to play too much with the scale for two reasons 1) There wasn't much room in the picture to uniformly scale the Model 2) When I was rendering in higher resolutions it was taking forever so I rendered it in a lower resolution and that is also the reason why detail is blurred. Concerning the whole function, appearance etc you are 100% right, I will change the design to show this more. Btw does anyone think cutting and pasting into an existing picture is a bad idea? I haven't really found another way to add a background that can be incorporated into a render. Thanks for the critique ..I need more..I don't wanna suck at this and yeahh I started using Vray last month I couldn't understand Kerkythea. I am in my last year in high school I don't know how much I need to step my game up to be a good student in University. How long does it take? Do they teach you how to render in Uni at all?
