I`ve done interior scene but i have one problem there = Noise (white dots).Its visible on TV screen a lot. I cant resolve this problem, tried to push up DMC treshold, light cache but nothing... Used : LC - 1000, sample size - 0,02 AA - Catmul rom 1/12 IR - medium preset there is only vray sun/sky used.no additional lights... Most I've ever needed on my sun was 24. what's your noise threshold at? also: this should have been posted in the vray forum, not general discussions. Nic H Posted July 7, 2009 Share Posted July 7, 2009 150 default?? you must have settings mixed up default is 3 with a noise threshold / clr threshold of 0.001 you should have almost no noise if you are using the dmc sampler correctly. dont use a sharpening filter either, this will exentuate the dots (that i cant see anyway) you can always sharpen in post.
