Ace_Face
I was playing with the Vreel Translucent Free shader for C4d to test it out. What a great shader. It simulates subsurface scattering (since C4D objects are hollow) and I am pleased with the results. Here's my first attempt showing a simple sand-worn piece of glass with a solid bead embedded inside it. Once it loads and plays, grab the slider and drag it back and forth. You can see the specular highlights when the light is in front of the object, and the calculated density is quite accurate with the edge highlights from the backlighting. I thought it was cool  It's 20.7 MB sorry orangeno Translucent Movie You can get the free demo version here at VREEL 3d Entertainment [ August 22, 2003, 04:59 PM: Message edited by: Ace_Face ]
