Lee Eagle
Hello, Has anyone done the Light For Production DVD by Tim Jones? Please help, I am new to fusion and have a problem. The Problem: The render results I achieve in fusion and max after color correction are not the same. The fusion result is brighter despite checking and rechecking the multiplier and gain values. Have you encountered this or do you know what other settings may be disrupting the results? Thanks!

Lee Eagle
Hello nicnic Thank you for replying. J In the DVD Tim renders an ambient light pass and a directional light pass, then he creates a composition (both files are saved as rla files), after adding color correct to each one and adjusting it, he takes the gain value from fusion and goes to max. In max he multiplies the multiplier value of each light by the value of the gain. In the dvd he explains that after adjusting the values in max when he will render the image the result will look exactly like the image that is viewed in fusion. When seeing the dvd I saw that indeed he reached the same result however when I tried to follow the steps I saw a clear difference between the 2 as you can see in the screenshot… Any tips or help would be great…
