mrdcon
Help please! I'm new to using Vray and have looked at a lot of tutorials but I'm still not getting exterior renderings anywhere close to the great stuff that's out there. I had shadows in SketchUP but lost them when I rendered in Vray. Where did they go! Also, the clarity and detail is lost. I am using a standard "qmc, lc, high.visopt" setting that came with Vray. Can someone offer me some suggestions or settings to try...thanks!

RayOfLight
don't use the default setting. Make sure you have set a vray daylight or HDRI in Vray Environment. Use camera settings according to the amount of light, play with that, not with the light intensity, it will result in a more natural result. (pretty old topic btw, did you already manage to get a nice result?)
