Crazy Homeless Guy
This is from earlier today. I am formally challenging someone to work this into their Arch Viz scene. I even took the initial steps of cutting it out for you. Just click on the link for the higher resolution version under the photo. ....or maybe this is more of a dare. That is a wine cooler bottle by the way. He said he doesn't like to use those because they break every once in awhile. I was hoping he was going to move his hands and balance perfectly on the bottle, but he did not. Opting instead for "fancy" leg waving and running in place. Higher resolution version for compositing... http://www.phase22.com/misc/cgarchitect/Handstand_Small.png . BVI
Hi Travis - my humble 30 second attempt - I had a few kids doing handstands already, so this seemed to fit right in. Nic
Inxa
Bvi - It took sometime for me to actually spot that guy in the render. Crazy homeless guy - Well, other than the challenge it must be difficult to do that, isn't it. Did you try that as well

Nic The perfect spot for him, much nicer than where we crossed paths. I like the dream like quality of your image.
Ernest Burden III
Do you remember my DMVC3 talk? I suggested using realistic references to a place to build a sense of 'where', ended the segment with the line "you could show a crazy homeless guy, see if your client has a sense of humor". Here you are...I mean here he is! I attempted to write that line into my 3DAT book chapter, but my editor (wisely) made me take it out. With the crowd out on Market you could post a new CHG photo every week for a year and not run out of 'authentic urban fabric' to post. Photorealism, anyone? Yes, I remember that well. ....I should will keep this thread of urban fabric entourage alive. It will give me something to do with my spare time. vizwhiz
how about a CHG playing a cello ala 'The Soloist" ??
Spooner04
I had a CHG come up to me once and do a front flip for a buck. I ended up buying him a value meal I was so impressed. He really creeped out the wife and kids though. *edit* If things don't pick up soon we might all be CHG's. I can juggle torches and knives, I wonder how well that pays. Iain Denby
I put Kylie Minogue inside a glass lift travelling up a building in a visual I did about 8 years ago! it's a good fun idea

BVI
I put Kylie Minogue inside a glass lift travelling up a building in a visual I did about 8 years ago! it's a good fun idea Before working for me, one of my artists once put a *male appendage* in a 3D image - not knowing that it would be resized and made billboard size for display in a store in the airport. She swears nobody noticed...

Horhe
:-) hahaha, nice one Once, I didnt have nuns images, so I had to insert arabic people in their traditional clothes. It did work as they were silhouettes only.
Ernest Burden III
So we're up to celebrity teens who don't pay their artists and must hide from jugglers as Arab nuns...which has driven them insane and forced them from their homes, who then spend their days riding the elevators of shiny new developments. I like it!
