Installing plugin problems.

OK, I confess Im a total dope at this and usually I just follow this installation instructions and hope for the best.

Unfortunately there are no installation instructions on http://www.cg-source.com for the rather wonderful looking 'Floor Generator' and 'Multi-texture' material.

 

So here are my questions:

 

1: I can open the Floor Generator via 'Run Script'. But how can I make it its own button/menu? Im confused by the Customize User Interface panel....

 

2: The Multi-Texture is a .dlt file which (in the video-promo) you select from the Material/Map Browser to put into the diffuse slot. How do I get it to show up in the Browser? Where do I put it, I assume I just paste it into a folder in Explorer and restart Max? So which folder?

Hi,

 

1. I just took a look at it and the fastest way will be to just open script inside max, select all and drag it into UI (just drop it on buttons). It will create macroscript.

 

2. Just put it inside max/plugins
