Gamma problem...

Hey guys,

having a small issue over the last week or so and I am starting to do some interior spaces now so it is getting annoying...

When I go into the environment tab and do a quick preview with the MR photographic control to set up my camera values, the preview image is not matching my render output...

I have max's display set to a gamma value of 2.2, the Materials and Colours check boxes ticked off and the bitmap options set to 2.2.

Is this correct?! If so, how do I have the environment preview match these settings, it is still rendering like everything is default at 1.

Thx in advance!

I usually do all my internal renderings using MR Photographic Exposure Control. The Gamma is as follows:

Enable Gamma/LUT Correction (Checked)

Load Enable State with Max Files (Checked)

Materials and Colors (Bot checked)

Bitmap Files 1.8

Output Gamma 1.8

Gamma 1.8

You can change it and have it as per your own requirements and depending what you want to do, but 1.8 works for me. Realize that this works with MR Photographic Exposure Control settings on Color Saturation down to 1.0 (default) as Gamma also handles the colors. I hope this helps.
