ronll
Years ago I bought Acad 2000. I have never upgraded because it does everything my limited needs require of it, except when clients send me .dwg files from later versions. I really don't want to invest the several thousand dollars it would take for a new version just to be able to convert a few drawing files. Yet I also don't like having to bother my clients with always asking them to save to ver. 2000. Does anyone know of any third party software that might do the conversions? TheAllusionisst
Third party convertor from solid works: http://www.dwggateway.com/ Autodesk has a TrueView Convertor? (Only have my laptop unpacked, can't look up the actual file name.) that does batch conversions that is free as well. Edited July 17, 2009 by Russell L.
