videep
Hello Everyone, Well first of all, to start off with, I would like to say that joining cgarchitect.com has been very helpful must say that its an amazing site as we are helped by the professionals in the industry... Comming to the point, I would like to say that, I have recently started off with max and vray. Really interesting softwares. After looking at the portfolio's of the members, I thought to ask as to where did you all lern vray from... As I really am interested in learning this plugin. Not here for fun at all. I have learnt it myself and till now whatever i have made is through the internet tutorials. But when i look at my renders, they are not so professional.. Really need help as i am really interested in learning this....
John Dollus
The Chaos group forums are full of great feedback and tips for learning the software. Hard to get better than direct responses from the creator of the software
WAcky
As above. Also, reading a lot of online stuff is great and thats how I got started. It's a matter of finding a workflow that works for you and trying new things to improve all the time. There's no magic button to make them better, but lots of tricks and techniques to get more out of each render. Things you learn from every little tutorial and post on relevant forums will help. Every render I do, I'm trying different settings and methods for all parts of my workflow to see if they might be better or worse. For some reason people seem to think that if someone else can do a 3d render on a computer than they can too. Unfortunately, it takes time and dedication to reach a decent level of ability, much like many other things in life.
