3dwannab
Hum, so what's the difference with the Pivot options in the hierarchy panel? steps by doing it that way. select object go to hierarchy panel hit affect pivot Spend ages trying to grab hold of the pivot span pivot to wherever you want click on affect pivot AGAIN This method select object right click and choose affect pivot with snap on click where you want the pivot point. DONE As you see there twice as less steps to perform (BUT saving 80% time) Try it out and see Edited July 19, 2009 by 3dwannab
3dwannab
Looks more like a shortcut. Any special features? Not really but you don't have to brother moving or going near the pivot just click where you want it to go. I don't think there is a shortcut within max to centre the objects pivot or snap the pivot to vertex or what ever you prefer.
