Frosty
I have mailed this suggestion to Maxon in the past but have had no response. A topic in the Lightwave thread reminded me of this issue. I want to be able to create 2 point perspectives in Cinema. FormZ makes this a very easy process with a "keep verticles straight" option. Why doesnt CInema have this? Can we get a plugin written? Ideally, I would like to be able to adjust the focal length on the vertical perspective seperately.
nisus
Hi Frosty, I hope this is a workaround: http://www.cgarchitect.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=23;t=000003 nisus
Frosty
Thanks Nisus. Very sneaky dude. The only downside is an increased render time.
nisus
Hi Frosty, Not if you render using 'CROP' in max. Even in my max3.1 this option is available! At the time of writing that post I thought there was no way to target the increased render time... but there is! rgds nisus
Frosty
This is the Cinema thread Nisus, not Max Although there is no crop function, I assume a foreground object with a mask would do the same thing - block out the portion to be ignored. I have just recently started using an animated mask to render large stills on my farm. It would be a very similar task.
